TUM MUJHE PHON KAR SAKATE THE

Could have – सकता था |
जब कोई past में किसी काम को करने में capable समर्थ हो पर उसने वो काम ना किया हो तो हम could have use करते हैं |
Could have के साथ verb के third form का प्रयोग करते हैं |

मैं पढ़ सकता था लेकिन पढ़ न सका क्योंकि मेरे घर मेहमान आ गए थे |
I could have studied but I could not study because guests came at my place.

मैं उससे बात कर सकता था पर नहीं कर सका क्योंकि वहां उसका भाई था |
I could have spoken to her but I could not speak because her brother was there.

तुम मुझे फ़ोन कर सकते थे |
You could have phoned me.

तुम वहाँ बैठे रहने के बजाये मेरी मदद कर सकते थे |
They could have helped me instead of just sitting there.

तुम मेरे मदद कर सकते थे |
You could have helped me.

मैं तुम्हारे बिना मैनेज नहीं कर पाता |
I couldn't have managed without you.

could have का use ऐसी बात बोलने के लिए भी होता है जो हो सकता था पर ना हुआ हो |

इस तरह खिड़की से पत्थर फेंक कर तुम किसी को नुकसान पहुंचा सकते थे |
He could have hurt somebody, throwing a stone out of the window like that.

तुम अपना हाथ तुडवा सकते थे |
You could have broken your hand.

We use the passive voice to change the focus of the sentence. My bike was stolen. passive a focus on my bike Someone stole my bike. active a focus on someone We often use the passive:

 

यह ठंडा हो जायेगा |

lt will get cold.

मुझे तुम्हारे और कमल के बारे में सब पता चल गया है |

I know everything about you and kamal.

तुम पकड़ो इसे |

You hold it.

तो यहाँ हो तुम लोग |

So there you guys are.

 

For changing from Active to Passive ainga form of verb is replaced by the Past Participle form and the reverse is applied when changing Passive Voice into Active voice. Exercises With Answers: Identify whether the following sentences are Active or Passive and convert to other forms accordingly.

 

इसमें तुम्हारे सिर्फ 30 सेकंड्स लगते |

It would have taken you all of thirty seconds.

अगर छोटा amount होता तो हम आपको तकलीफ ना देते |

अब बताओ मुझे, क्या तुमने कमल को देखा है ?

Similarly, a sentence is said to be in Passive Voice when something is done to the subject. In the above sentence Ram is the a subject a and Ravana is the a object a. In the active voice sentence Ram i.e., the subject has killed the object Ravana.

 

क्या तुमने खाना पका लिया ?

Have you cooked the dinner?

चूहें कि तरह मसल दो उसे |

Crush him like a rodent.

क्या तुम्हारी माँ को पता है कि तुम ये काम कर रहे हो ?
